Lifting Plug Valve
For lifting plug valves, when the valve is open, first turn the handwheel to lift the plug and separate it from the sealing surface, and then turn the handle 90 degrees to connect the plug channel to the valve body channel. Thus, the valve is opening. When closing the valve, first turn the handle 90 degrees to make the valve plug channel perpendicular to the valve body channel, and then turn the handwheel to lower the valve plug to close the valve.
