Chief Features
Face to face dimensions adopt short series, and light weight valve is adopted, so as to save pipe supporter.
The valve body provides a continuous flow direction, which means that in the open position, it will not produce cavities, so it will not fluctuate in the medium, and the load loss is minimal.
Full bore design provides flow rate with low pressure drop.
The internal design will not accumulate solids in the seat area.
The valve seat is composed of two rubber ferrules symmetrically located on both sides of the valve body. The material is natural rubber, and there is a metal core inside to help keep the shape from deformation. The elasticity of the ferrule ensures that they are permanently connected to prevent solid accumulation between the two parts of the valve body.
This valve is designed for wear-resistant cut-off, and the ferrule protects the valve body.
For maintenance, the ferrule can be replaced and taken out from the outside of the valve body, making the operation easier.
The standard packing is composed of a specially designed EPDM “V” ring, which provides the overall water seal between the body disc to prevent various kinds of leakage. It also has a grease packing strip to help the operation of the open and close. They can be replaced at an easily accessible position without dismantling the valve on the pipeline.
